REGULAR GYMS
1) L’USINE
L’Usine operates three upscale gyms in Paris: one in Opera, one by the Saint Lazare train station, and another in the Marais-Beaubourg. Besides high end equipment and facilities, they have tons of extras such saunas and steam rooms to ensure you aren’t just fit but pampered as well. You can even book a massage! Yes, it’s posh but you get what you pay for L’Usine is in such high demand that they now limit membership, so you’ll have to contact each club individually to inquire about membership options and cost. While costs vary (close to 2,000 euros per year), we’ve learned it’s around a few hundred euros per month with shortest duration of 3 months.
2) L’APART FITNESS
L’Apart has been growing fast thanks to its low prices. There are currently four in central Paris and each club has all the basic equipment you would expect: nautilus machines, weights, cardio machines and a few rooms for group sessions. L’apart gyms are not massive but they are clean and the staff are friendly. We recommend their Bastille and Charlety (13th arrondissement) locations. Prices vary but expect around 30 euros per month with a commitment of 12 months, around 40 for 6 months.

CMG is one of the oldest gyms in Paris and many of their gyms have been renovated in recent years so now is a good time to enjoy their facilities. And the best part about CMG? They offer a complimentary session, so sign up below!
CROSSFIT GYMS
1) R2
R2 offers a very similar cross fit experience to Cross Fit Original Addicts. There are two in Paris: one in the Bastille and another in Vendome in central Paris. R2 instructors like to get creative by employing all kinds of strange contraptions, pulleys, balls, and anything odd they can get their hands on, which can be funny at times but also very challenging. They get points for creativity and keeping things interesting.
R2 offers a discounted session for 10 euros for new customers so just sign up via link below (click on the one that says ‘Seance First Step’ or choose the best offer as you see fit).
Monthly sessions currently available
2) CROSSFIT ORIGINAL ADDICTS (COA)
Located in the Bastille area, Crossfit Original Addicts (COA) is a cool gym focused on cross fit. COA is designed to be very sociable and fun so newbies will fit right in. If you’re not familiar with how a cross fit class works, the class is basically led by a few instructors who instruct the entire group or sub groups to perform activities like pushing a car tyre(tire) around or climbing a rope. It combines weight training with cardio to ensure you get an intense, complete workout in a short space of time. We absolutely LOVE their classes since they are fun and stimulating on many levels. They offer a complimentary session for newcomers which you can obtain via the link below:

COMBAT GYMS
1) MMA FACTORY
MMA Factory is for serious fighters. Many world champions have trained here under the careful tutelage of Fernand Lopez. Cyril Gane and Francis Ngannou are the most famous pupils to reach world champion status and this has in turn attracted more and more fighters.
MMA Factory is located in the 12th of Paris and while indeed ground zero for professionals, this shouldn’t discourage amateurs who just want to train with the best and get ripped. MMA training will push you to your limits so this isn’t for the faint hearted. 145 euros per month for an adult MMA membership, 115 for Muay Thai, and tons more options, quarterly, annually etc.
2) TEMPLE NOBLE ART
Like l’Usine, Temple Noble Art is an upscale gym, except with a twist: boxing. They have five locations in Paris, all of which are beautifully modern yet functional. If you’re not into boxing, you can simply work out and enjoy their nice facilities. But if you are into boxing, even if it’s just for the training, then try one of their intense training sessions. Their instructors are excellent and several are even pros so you’ll be in good hands.
A discovery boxing session costs 29 euros but it’s otherwise 100 for a two month trial. All locations are good but we like Porte Maillot and Saint Lazare the best.
3) BATTLING CLUB
There are two in Paris, one in Canal St Martin and the other in the 17th (west) of Paris. This is a serious boxing/fighting club where aspiring MMA fighters and boxers train. That said, like Temple and La Salle, it’s open to all levels and they have affordable rates. You can take English boxing or French (Savate) boxing- or why not try a Crossfit class for only 15 euro?
They offer sessions for 15 euros, otherwise different membership levels either by number of visits, monthly, annual etc:
